I put together these birthday invitation cards and used the traditional lego colours as my inspiration.

To make the lego pieces look authentic I punched out little circles using the 1/4 inch punch and adhered them with dimensionals.

On the inside of the invite I used a fill in invitation stamp and a gorgeous Celebrate Banner at the top of the page to give it a bit more pizazz.

No party is complete without the “loot bag” but instead I’ve decided to make my own Lego Brick Party Boxes using the Box # 2 Die.

I can just picture a stack of these bricks all lined up on the party table at his birthday. I will make sure that I take a picture and post it afterwards.

I love having birthday parties for my kids and just parties in general and what better way to put your own personal touch to those party decorations than by making your own accessories.

These are some bio degradable eco friendly spoons I purchased and stamped with with the words yum…..

Just think of some gorgeous ice cream cups filled with yummy sweets to go with these and you have a special way for your guests to enjoy their treats.

They can also be used as cake spoons for that more sophisticated adult get together.

Well I hope this has inspired you to add some personal touches to your next party or get together.

The new SU Autumn/Winter Mini has a gorgeous set of DSP called Twitterpatted and I for one am totally in love with this set of paper. So much so that I decided to use the DSP for something totally un-related to stamping.

I used a 1 inch circle silver bezel pendant and lined it with some yummy Twitterpatted DSP.

To cut the circle I used the SU 1 inch circle punch.

And to finish off the pendant I used some resin which gave the necklace a domed/gloss finish.

These will be gorgeous hostess presents or even teacher’s gifts for the end of the year.

I love making embellishments of all sorts and I also love when people ask me to make something special for them to use in their own paper crafting.

Here are some embellishments that I was recently asked to make for a lovely lady on the other side of Australia.

These fan flowers are one of my fave to make. I used the recent SU SAB DSP and created some SAB Fan Flower Embellies. Each embellie has self adhesive backing so all you need to do is peel and stick onto your creation

I also made some using the new Twitterpatted DSP.

Another love of mine is creating out of the ordinary embellies using the SU Designer Fabric range. Here are some Fabric Butterfly embellies I made using the new Twitterpatted Fabric and some self covered buttons.

The embellies have  a card backing which makes them nice and stable and also have a peel n stick backing to place directly onto your projects.

To make this banner I used the Stampin’ Up! Pennants Builder Punch and my favourite cardstock Krumb Cake (although I just can’t stop calling it Kraft – old habits die hard!)

To tie the banners together I used some bamboo skewers and twine. Which works perfectly as all you have to do is place the skewers directly into your cake.

I thought I would pop by and show you some piccies I took from the markets I did on the weekend. Because the lighting wasn’t the best in the hall I only took a few.

I haven’t had a chance to get my new sign made up with my new logo colours as yet so I put together this photo frame with some die cut letters to display on my market table.

These are some of the Fabric Button Paper Clip Bookmarks I made in the lead up to the markets. These were so much fun to make and I love using them (and so does my daughter who is an avid book reader).

My favourite thing to make at the moment is my vintage style hair bobbies using SU brads. They are so cute to wear and hold all those wispy hairs in place so well.

Here are some Fabric Button earrings that are so, so cute. I love the new SU Fabric in the Autumn/Winter mini.

And lastly I wanted to show you the cute Fabric Button embellies I made to use to decorate all those wonderful paper craft projects. They are peel and stick and give that great finished look to all your projects.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks leading up to the markets and I have been excitedly preparing some little embellishment packs to have on hand on the stall.

I’m loving making all sorts of fabric covered buttons at the moment and turning them into all sorts of goodies. Here are some fabric button embellies ready for the markets.

To make these cuties I used the Stampin’ Up! twitterpated Designer fabric released in the new SU Autumn/Winter mini catty. Isn’t this set of fabrics so yummy.

These buttons are ready to peel and stick onto any of your creations and have a dimensional adhesive to give your projects a little bit of depth.

These will be available in my etsy store when I return from the markets.

I’ve been putting together some special Engagement Invitations for a special young couple.

The couple’s colour combo for these invites were Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum, Silver and Whisper White. This is a stunningly elegant colour combo and until I put the invites together wasn’t quite sure it was going to work.

The couple wanted a simple but elegant invite so I kept the embellishments to a minimum and instead decorated the whisper white by embossing with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder.

All in all the couple where happy with the invite (and so was I). Now off to finish some wishing well cards.

These cards were created using the polka dots paper from the SU DSP Paper stacks. I love the new labels collection framelits dies which have just been released in the new SU Autumn/Winter Mini. They make layering that little bit easier.

The embossed border behind the DSP was created using the new Adorning Accents embossing folders which are also in the new mini. To finish off the border I scored a line either side of where the embossing folder finishes. This gives the embossing a finished completed look.

Stampin’ Up! have just released a gorgeous new fabric in the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue and I absolutely love the patterns in this series of Fabric.

So I whipped up some self covered buttons and created this Mother’s Day Card.

I absolutely love all things “Self Covered Buttoney” at the moment and I just couldn’t resist whipping this card up.

I have so many ideas running around my head at the moment to use these little cuties so stay tuned for some more creations using Self Covered Buttons.
