Love – Owl Style

This week at Just Add Ink the design team has set a sketch challenge for this week’s challenge.

I’m loving all things to do with owl’s at the moment, so I decided to showcase a set of “lovey dovey” owls for my entry in this weeks challenge.

Who can resist a gorgeous set of owls “in love”.

For this card I used my fave Greenhouse Gala DSP and all the wonderful colours involved in this gorgeous suite of paper. The card base was done in Pumpkin Pie and run through the big shot using the Polka Dot embossing folder.

I punched out 2 cute hidey holes for my love owls using my 1 3/4 circle punch and then punched the centre out with my 1 3/8 circle punch. These little cutties fit neatly in their little cubby holes don’t you think.

And once you open up the card you will see just how much these lovey dovey owls really love each other.

Stamps: Artistic Etchings, Card/Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Choc Chip, Greenhouse Gala DSP, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Accessories:  1 3/4 & 1 3/8 Circle Punches, Scallop edge punch, Owl Punch, Pumpkin Pie Ribbon.
